The Front Layer

The Front layer is made of cells: boxes that contain graphical data and can be arranged on a plane.

The following cells are available:

• Text – Single line of Helvetica text. Font size and color are variable.

• Image – Image or movie. Movie creates a new track.

• Notation – Section’s chord titles and diagrams coupled with standard and/or tablature notation.

• Tables – Table of musical data:

• circle of fifths

• keys

• chords

• chord progressions

• scale formulas

• chord formulas

• 2D Instruments – 2D keyboard as well as guitar and bas fretboards.

• Pointer – Pointing device: arrow, circle and square circling.
